Utopian Wanderer is a travel blog created to help other people explore the beautiful places and cultures of the world. Utopian Wanderer comes from the words “utopia” and “wandren”. Utopia is coined by Sir Thomas More in 1516 to describe a sense of perfection, “wandren”, on the other hand means to go to different places. Utopian Wanderer might mean “the perfect traveler”, however it does not mean that we are perfect people travelling together. Rather, travelling makes our imperfect lives seem perfect.
Utopian Wanderer is being managed by two people: Allandale Antenero and Paulyn Hayahay. Allandale Antenero is the Managing Director, he is a 20-year-old Marketing Practitioner and a student of Marketing Management at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Manila. Paulyn Hayahay, the Chief Storyteller is a 20-year-old student currently studying Applied Physics at the University of the Philippines – Manila.
Why do we travel?
We travel because travelling gives us satisfying experiences like meeting different kinds of people, trying out other places’ local cuisine, discovering other culture and tradition, learning new languages, and just trying out new things. We travel because travelling makes us better people.
